Perfect Candy & Packaging Company is a privately owned Sub-chapter S Corporation located in a 250,000 square foot facility in downtown Reading, Pennsylvania. The company was incorporated in 1984 as a candy packager and distributor. In recent years Perfect Candy & Packaging Company has broadened its horizons by becoming a packager of nuts, spices, & trail mixes, as well as, a bulk candy distributor. Perfect Candy & Packaging is currently a “master” distributor for Farley & Sather’s Candy Co. and Albanese Confectionary Group.

Throughout the years Perfect Candy & Packaging Company has diversified into many collateral industries including but not limited to private label packaging, customer contract packaging, the packaging of cake & cookie products, interactive candy items (candy & toy combinations), themed candy in unique containers (primarily for catalog merchandising companies) and the warehousing and fulfillment of all products housed and distributed through our centrally located storage facility.

The basic packaging equipment utilized in our operation are Hayssen Form, Fill & Seal Machines, Semi-automatic weighers, Platform scales, Doboy & Clamco bag sealers/labelers, customized automatic flat bag labelers, a variety of L-bar sealers, shrink tunnels, stretch wrappers, automatic cartoners, label printers and carton sealers. We also have a 10,500 square foot “cold” room which is available for the storage of perishable items. Perfect Candy & Packaging Company prides itself on its versatility and dedication to producing a quality product at a reasonable cost. We specify to our customers, WHAT we can do, HOW we will do it, how much it will COST and the TIME it will take to complete. Then, as our name implies, we try to accomplish these tasks “PERFECTLY”.

Due to the fact that cost control is of prime importance to our customers, the implementation of a quality controlled piecework rate system was successfully completed several years ago. This has resulted in lower costs for projects, especially when they are labor intense. We provide low cost private label packaging to a variety of customers, including but not limited to chain-stores, distributors, farmers markets, and individual stores. Many of our clients believe that our greatest strength is our ability to aid customers in creating the finished products they need and desire. We assist our customers in the design, sourcing and product development of their projects while ensuring the best methods of packaging and distribution for their specific needs.
